A more detailed photo of the curls of red mangrove which constitute the heart of this ecological system. Among the red mangrove are a banana orchid which has a white blossom and smells just like bananas, and tendrils of cacti which hang down like the tentacles of an octopus. On of one the cacti there bloomed a red bulb, covered in small spikes.
