The Dreameyrie
Sixteen year old Felix Goldendale has no idea what adversity he’ll undergo when he follows his irascible Uncle Lem into a Cascadian forest.  But after Felix passes through a secret passage that’s hidden in a tree, meets a Conductor, and traverses a cave tunnel, he finds himself in the Dreameyrie, the place where he and his newfound friend Sierra Mastiffson must survive and mature.

The Dreameyrie split from Earth thousands of years ago, and it now connects to Earth only through tenuous portals.  Here in the Dreameyrie, magic, dragons, and monsters are still extant.  Here in the Dreameyrie, Felix searches for gold, love, his Uncle Lem, and a way back home.

Told as a fantasy adventure, romance, and bildungsroman for young adults, The Dreameyrie takes readers on an epic odyssey filled with droll repartee, atmospheric settings, and compelling characters.  Think Lord of the Rings meets Studio Ghibli.  For in its 114,000 words, The Dreameyrie eulogizes biology and geology, makes merry, and celebrates the joy, wonder, and fragility of life.
