Afghanistan: Photos

I’m excited to announce that I’ll be publishing my book of photographs, Afghanistan, on February 1st!

The book will show about 250 black and white photos of Afghanistan’s north that were taken during the years 2008 – 2010.

Because of the cost of publishing this sort of book in hardback or paperback form, the book, for now, will only be published in electronic form.

I hope you enjoy the photos as much as I do!

Darul Aman Palace

Kabul, Afghanistan. 🇦🇫

Darul Aman Palace, Kabul, Afghanistan; 15 January 2010. The palace was damaged during the 1990s by Mujahideen during the Afghan Civil War. The building has since been restored.

I took all the photos. I intend to post more photos on this site, in addition to contributing new poetry. For Muslims, today is a day of celebration: Eid al-Fitr. Eid Mubarak.
